Speech contests are a Toastmasters tradition, giving members the opportunity to compete and strengthen their speaking skills. Competitions begin at the club level and advance through Area, Division, and District levels. Winners of the District International Speech Contest continue to the quarterfinals and semifinals, with the top competitors advancing to the World Championship of Public Speaking.
